Before this project, residents of Wli and surrounding communities faced significant barriers to accessing quality primary healthcare. The Wli Central Health Center lacked essential patient infrastructure, forcing mothers and children attending child welfare clinics to wait outdoors in unsafe and uncomfortable conditions. This reduced attendance for newborn immunization, growth monitoring, and other preventive care services while placing additional strain on frontline healthcare workers.
